Honestly, the worst part about anything thatβs self destructive is that itβs so intimate. You become so close w/ your addictions, & illnesses that leaving them behind is like killing the part of yourself that taught you how to survive.. 🧍🏼♀️

Exactly, it’s like it’s so familiar and even though I know it’s killing me and tearing my whole LIFE, WORLD APART! IM SCARED to go on without it! I’ve relied on it for so long that I’m just scared!

I had to find out the hard way that I cannot do this alone. Itβs looks like you have came to the same realization. I donβt think thereβs a trick to it being comfortable with reaching out. Hey each time you reach out it gets easier. I also had to become willing to do whatever it takes and put in as much effort into my recovery as I did when I was using. Prayers for you just do it and I promise it gets easier. Never alone never again❤️❤️❤️
