Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” So, I guess it is important to be aware of what kind of language we use and how we come across when we speak. Some of my peers have greatly debated this topic. Saying, “Oh, it’s just a word. Doesn’t really mean nothing.” But the bible tells us otherwise. Words are important. Words can inspire, encourage, and uplift. But they can also hurt and tear down. When others hear you speak, they should be able to get a good idea of what you are about. As christians, it’s our job to be an example to others. Blessings and cursings can not come from the same mouth. Keep that in mind next time you’re saying your prayers or praying for others. No one’s perfect, just keep trying. Progress, not perfection. Have a blessed day!!!
