Just another day in the mom life here. My oldest son (who is currently in addiction) is doing a lot better. He has held down a job for almost a year and has been supporting himself for the same amount of time. Although, I don’t know if he is completely clean of all mind altering substances i don’t think he’s still doing some of the ones he was. In other words , I STILL HAVE HOPE FOR HIM!! Being a mother is hard enough let alone adding your in recovery yourself and have a child that is an addict. But I won’t stop loving him and praying for him. Each day is a blessing. I miss him terribly. Hope everyone is hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit. Get on here and get some stuff off of your mind. We are all here to help one another. I find just not being alone in a situation help. Reach out!!
