20 months sober as of January 27th. It works if you work it! All you gotta do is do a little work! God, sponsor, meetings, and work the steps.

Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you fought, the moments you had to humble yourself, wiped your own tears and pat yourself on the back. Celebrate your strength. Today is a new day!

The great fact is just this, and nothing less: That we have had deep and effective spiritual experiences* which have revolutionized our whole attitude toward life, toward our fellows and toward God’s universe. The central fact of our lives today is the absolute certainty that our Creator has entered into our hearts and lives in a way which is indeed miraculous (p. 25).

We are loved and our lives have meaning today. We do remarkable things with our lives— sometimes by accomplishing big goals, and sometimes simply by being ourselves. A member complained to her sponsor that as a homemaker she felt she wasn’t really doing enough with her life or her time, that maybe she should have done something more important. Her sponsor smiled. “Are you kidding? By breaking the cycle of addiction in your family, you’re changing history!” Our greatest achievements may not be the things anyone else ever knows about: The simple fact that we survive our own stories is monumental. That we go on to help others and live lives we can be proud of is beyond our wildest dreams. Whatever we do, we make a difference in the world because we are clean. -LC🔷

My local rco’s come together each year to have recovery fest… this was my 3rd attending but my 1st as a vendor. I didn’t think that my table would be very popular at all but BOY WAS I WRONG! the necklaces and bracelets were selling soo quick! All custom made to order. (2 bracelets were pre-made but still custom and one of a kind) I am so proud of myself and my fiancé for reaching out and asking for help a few days before the event to make sure we would make it there. I was told that it seemed like I have been doin this for years and in a way I have.. just not professionally. I’m sharing this to let y’all know.. don’t give up.. if you get stuck ask for help! There’s nothing wrong in asking for help. Your dreams can come true, you just gotta apply yourself! Show up and half of the work is done already! If I can get clean, stay clean and start a business out of something I love. SO! CAN! YOU! keeping fuckin going! If you haven’t heard this today you’re beautiful/handsome, you’re important and I love you!
