New here…I’m Kimberly I graduated treatment at stepworks in e-town( I’m from Louisville KY) now I’m at a sober living house in campbellsville…I’m needing advice on how to get diagnosed for mental disorders so I don’t relapse AGAIN…I feel exactly the same in my mind& heart sober,as I do high…so WHAT GIVES? RT???

Hey @kimberlymorris7272! If you make an appointment with a primary care physician in Campbellsville, they will be able to help you and/or refer you to a psychiatrist. Our only advice would be not to wait and to be honest with your doctor about your addiction so they can provide you with the most accurate diagnosis. Also, reach out to the ladies in sober living and your 12 step fellowship for support too. Hang in there @kimberlymorris7272! Thank you for sharing with us.

@KimberlyMorris7272, are you a part of a 12 step fellowship? My suggestion would be to be honest about everything to your physician and or therapist, especially your addiction; as Rich said, they can help you take the proper steps. Do you have any recovery literature AA or NA?
Yes I go to 4 n.a./a a meetings aweek,do my stepwork and have a sponsor
