Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

I know who is fighting against me when I feel weak or tempted. When I find myself in those vulnerable moments, I think about my favorite line in the serenity prayer (accepting hardships as a pathway to peace). It took me awhile to fully understand this. I was thinking, how on earth can anyone look at hardships as anything good! But the truth is, I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t endured those hardships. I think God uses our hard times to shape us and make us stronger. So keep fighting those temptations my friends. Stay strong and pray about everything. James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
