It is ESSENTIAL to remember the reasons why you have chosen to give up your addiction, dependency, infatuation, or obsession, especially when you feel a sign of relapse coming on. Those reasons you have were strong enough catalysts to make you quit something that was nearly impossible for you to even consider was destructive, so they must be monumental to you. What human beings do not understand is that the people who truly care about and love them in their lives hurt when they see them hurt themselves. I would like you to ALWAYS remember that, as that was key for me as a reason to give up my addictions, dependencies, infatuations, and obsessions. It REALLY does help and works.
