I challenge everybody that is new to recovery or just newly sober again to give it 6 months and if you don’t like the life your living afterwards I promise you misery is still out there waiting for you if you would like to return to it….. We don’t hon ourselves enough credit when credit is due but at the same time without your higher power there would be no credit to give… Dont be scared to lean on others, to hold onto a pocket for however long you need to, or to ask for help because a closed mouth doesn’t get answers.. Just know you are worth it and always will be and the street isn’t a winner no more in your life.. you all are loved believe it or not you most certainly are and very meaningful to somebody or someone that you don’t even know about yet… stay patient, stay open-minded and most importantly honest within yourself (as in be yourself)… just be willing and stay willing and give back the gift that was freely giving to you.
