I basically destroyed my relationship because I put drugs before everything else. I hurt my boyfriend because I lied about everything. I continued to lie about everything. I really have no support group. I don’t have any friends I can go to, I had to cut everyone out of my life because they either use drugs or have some involvement with them. While my boyfriend is still with me, there’s still a lot to be worked out, a lot of making up to do, and a lot of trust to earn back.
Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone been through something like this? We need help because neither one of us knows how to do this. Where to start, how we can start to make things better.

Meetings, prayer, stepwork, and alot of time. There are Nar-Anon and NA. Hope you both will get involved and enjoy the miracle of recovery.
@Brittany122020 what city/state are you located in? We can get you connected to support groups near you. The 12 Steps often works well with the types of problems you discussed?
I’m in Brandenburg Kentucky. 🙂 thank you so much.
Here’s a couple of links to meetings near you! Try to get connected to people actively participating in the 12 Steps. The entire program is about relationships. I often hear people summarize the 12 Steps as “Rebuild and Repair Relationships with God, Rebuild and Repair Relationships with Self, and Rebuild and Repair Relationships with Others.” Thank you for sharing with us! I believe you’ll find the support in these groups helpful! 🙂 I know I did.
