1 year and 8 months without a drink. Feeling very grateful today to have made it this far. The difference in my life and myself as a person is huge and I wouldn’t be here without Stepworks in London. I may not have stayed sober when I left, but it’s everything I learned during my time there that got me where I am today. I have no desire to tou…[Read more]

Almost 8 months sober. When I look back at the person I used to be, it doesn’t seem possible. I have Stepworks London to thank for that. Although it took a year after graduating the program for me to actually make the change and stick to it, i wouldn’t have been able to do it without the knowledge they instilled in me. I wouldn’t be who I am today…[Read more]

This is a gift from recovery. Stepworks saved the best friendship I have ever had. Before getting sober the first time, I neglected so many friendships that were actually REAL friendships. This girl stuck by my side through it all even when I ignored her for weeks bc I was too busy staying fucked up. Shout out to her for sticking right beside me…[Read more]

Going on two months of sobriety. This shit ain’t no joke and it took me over a year to finally let that set in. I’m exactly where I need to be right now and I can’t think step works enough for everything they taught me. S/O to stepworks in London. Y’all rule!

I fucked up 3 months for a couple of hours. But there’s no sense in beating myself up over it bc I can’t change it. So here’s to 8 days..

Finally went back to work today! It’s funny how things change. Instead of thinking about what I was gonna drink when I got off work, like I did before treatment, all I could think about was the meeting I was going to when I got off. It was a great meeting, too! Forever grateful for the program of AA!

Attended an awesome meeting today with 126 people. I was a little overwhelmed at first, but it ended up being my favorite meeting that I’ve been to since I left treatment on Monday! So grateful for the program of AA. Grateful for 37 days sober & grateful that I don’t have to drink ever again.
