Our dear Mr. Fred! I love this part in the book. It reminds me of the importance of enlarging a spiritual life so that I am less likely to be caught “off guard”. Good read! Information+application=transformation🙏
I like ol Fred. I always identified with Fred believing self knowledge was sufficient to solve the problem. Of course it is not. Not for Bill W, not for Fred, and not for me or anyone else either. Sobriety requires action, not knowledge.
